About
Author Malcolm Bronte
Malcolm’s diverse journey began in Africa before settling in Scotland. After graduating as a geologist from Aberdeen University, he embarked on a series of adventures, working as a surveyor, a wrangler, a ski instructor, a canoe expedition leader, and more. Married and with a baby daughter, he looked for a more settled life and retrained as a systems analyst, working first with the NHS and then with an IT consultancy firm. His passion for education led him to become a university lecturer, teaching modules such as information systems, ethics, and project management. Malcolm’s research spanned various topics, including systems thinking, project success and failure, IT consultancy methodologies, and lifestyle medicine, which he named “Life Number.” After 33 years, Malcolm retired and pursued his interests, authoring two books and earning a qualification in soil biology and regenerative farming. Today, he and his wife manage a farm and equestrian center on the Ayrshire coast.
